Below are some pictures of my husband with a black eye and his wrist in a cast. Horse business is dangers. It does not matter how friendly or well trained they are, a horse can hurt you, just because of their sheer size and the fact that they are animals and can not reason with you or think out what their actions can do.
In this case my husband was working with a fairly young horse and after a very successful day of training, my husband got a little too relaxed and did something that spooked the horse. My husband ended up on the ground and then we all had to go to the ER.
He will be in a cast for 6-10 weeks.
